"Gomorrah" grants from the European Film Awards.

Huge success for "Gomorrah": The Mafia film by director Matteo Garrone is at the European Film Awards equal five awards. The German participants were on the other hand, almost nothing.
  Copenhagen - The Italian film "Gomorrah" about the Mafia in Naples has at the European Film Awards in Copenhagen with 5 of 15 prizes downright cleared. Besides the main prize for the European Film 2008 has been named best director and Toni Servillo as the best actor award. Servillo also received the award for his lead role in "Il Divo" ( "The Star").
To kick off the award had "Gomorrah" and the award for best screenplay and cameraman Marco Onorato for the best camera work won. The British actress Judi Dench received a prize for her life's work. Veronica also got the Danish directors Lars von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, Søren Krag Jacobsen and Kristian Levring for their "dogma" Manifesto of 1995.
Through the gala, with about 1500 guests, the Danish presenter and journalist Mikael Bertelsen. Among the guests were Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
